Pedagogue represents the broad vastness of the field and those of us who teach often without recognition . . . Pedagogue serves as a resource for college writers and future teachers to better understand the role of writing as a practice of life.

-From the Kairos award nomination letter, co-authored by 15 teacher-scholar-activists
Shane has enacted a commitment to representing different voices across institutional contexts and positions: community colleges, four-year universities, private universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, regional campuses, grad students, assistant professors, associate professors, full professors. Each facet of Pedagogue has been intentionally created as a means for supporting the broader community of composition.

-Steve Parks, Professor at the University of Virginia, Editor of Studies in Writing and Rhetoric
